Neuter is Cuter Pledge

Since 2001, Chicago Canine Rescue has been finding homes for unwanted pets that are a result of their unneutered and unspayed parent-pups. Misinformation surrounding the importance of spaying and neutering your pet combined with a frequent lack of financial means for this  surgical procedure, results in many unwanted puppies and kittens. It is our mission to help those animals find their forever homes.

Each year CCR spends over $60,000 in medical costs. A large portion of this expense is directly related to spay and neuter procedures for the pups that come into our care. This is a crucial step in reducing the number of homeless pets in our community.

We are excited to announce that Animal Hospital of McHenry and our very own Dr. Tammy, have generously offered to donate free surgeries (not just spays & neuters) for our CCR pups based on the amount of funds that we can raise for this cause during the month of November.

For every $10,000 that is pledged to CCR through the Neuter is Cuter campaign, Animal Hospital of McHenry will provide 4 surgeries at NO COST to CCR. But – if we meet our goal of $30,000 pledged, CCR will be provided 13 surgical procedures on the house! A true baker’s dozen! Working towards no more buns in those ovens!

Please join us in this vital campaign to help us work towards a goal of no more homeless pets. Are you ready to take the Neuter is Cuter pledge and to make this a November to Remember?
