Help remove the bullet from Lulu’s jaw!
lulu was shot in the face. help us remove the bullet!
Lulu is a gorgeous, happy, bouncy 11 month old Mountain Cur pup who arrived at CCR after being found stray in Arkansas. The transferring shelter made no mention of any previous medical issues or concerns. Boy, were they wrong!
A routine procedure revealed Lulu was in chronic pain – she had a huge pocket of infection in her upper jaw, and it required a specialist’s attention IMMEDIATELY.
What the specialist found shocked us all – Lulu had bullet fragments embedded in her jaw and throughout her mouth. She had been shot in the face.
After a lengthy procedure, the specialist was able to remove the largest bullet fragments and repair the huge hole in her jaw. This may be the first time in Lulu’s young life that she won’t have to be in constant pain.
The specialist saved Lulu!
But we need your help to raise $3,500 to cover her care.
Please help if you can. It is only through donations like yours that we can continue to offer emergency medical care to pups like Lulu.
