Chicago Canine Rescue Foundation’s Dog Park in the Sky is a special way to honor those that are gone from our lives but never absent from our hearts.
By giving a donation to CCR as a tribute to a loved one, the fate of thousands of the most vulnerable animals in our city can be changed in their honor.
For a donation of $100 or more, your beloved pet’s photo and a memorial message will be posted as a permanent tribute to a beloved life. You may also gift this memorial to a friend or loved one so they may honor their own pet.

Dr. Watson was the most special friend you could ask for and a true miracle of a dog. There wasn’t a bad day when he was there. He brought that same joy to all of the friends, family and strangers he met along the way, and for that, we have to be grateful.
Bastian, we adopted you 11 years ago and have had an amazing companion ever since. You’ve been there for our family during the highest highs and lowest lows and always showing unconditional love. We miss you so much buddy.

You were the sweetest, loveliest friend. I will miss you so much. We had so many wonderful times together. You struggled through illness with dignity and strength. I will miss our walks and lament when you could no longer walk. Your life was too short but memories of you will always bring me joy. Rest in peace my sweet girl.

To my favorite Frisbee buddy. When my daddies adopted me, you were my best-est friend in the whole wide world. We played together, we snuggled together…and we got into trouble together. You were the best big brother a little girl could have. Love you always…your little sister, London.

Winnie was a joy engine — she gave us so much love, and we did our best to return that love. She will be missed forever. Even as we mourn the time we we were robbed of her company, we are grateful of the time we had.

Our Prairie girl was beautiful and smart, but she also had a silly fun side. She loved everyone she met. Our dear girl will forever be in our hearts, but now I’m sure she is running free. We love you Prairie. -Shannon and Ryan
When I asked God to give me the best dog, He gave me you, Captain. I will always cherish our beautiful memories. Like the Tina Turner song, you were simply the best.
