Our Process

Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from Chicago Canine Rescue! It is only through the support of the community and adopters like you that we can do our lifesaving work!

Due to the large number of applications, we are unable to guarantee every adopter will get their first choice of adoptable dog. We will do our best to be as efficient and transparent as we can with the adoption process so that you know what to expect. All applicants will receive a response via email regardless of the availability of dogs.

Currently available dogs are listed on our website only. Please do not rely on third-party websites like Petfinder or Adopt-a-Pet to give you up-to-date information about available dogs. Please see our Adoptable Animals listing for currently available animals.
